Julien Mueller is a passionate singer and acoustic guitarist, bringing soulful music and heartfelt energy to luxury weddings and events across Europe. Based in La Rochelle on the French Atlantic coast, he is regularly invited to perform at some of the region’s most exclusive venues — from Château Sainte Cécile in Saint-Thibéry to Château de Goudourville, Château Allure du Lac, and beyond. With more than a decade of experience performing on stages, in vineyards, and under starlit skies in over 25 countries, Julien blends refined elegance with a subtle, untamed spirit — perfect for couples who seek something deeply personal, yet delightfully unconventional. Fluent in English, French, and German, Julien is the ideal musical host for destination weddings, effortlessly connecting with international guests and creating a warm, inclusive atmosphere wherever he performs.Music with Soul – and a Hint of Wanderlust
Julien’s music is rooted in storytelling. Every note, every lyric is a fragment from his own journey — tales collected along winding roads, across borders, and through countless celebrations of love. With a carefully curated repertoire of over 280 songs, Julien weaves Jazz, Folk, and timeless Pop into something entirely his own. From 1940s classics to modern hits, 80% of his set is in English, with the rest spanning French chansons and handpicked gems from around the world.
And if your celebration takes you off the beaten path — into a forest, to a hidden cove, or up a mountain — Julien is right there with you. With his battery-powered setup and love for the unexpected, no location is too remote. (Well, singing from a hot air balloon is still on the bucket list…)

We hired True Troubadour as the music entertainment at the chateau for a small party of just 14. He was absolutely perfect for our group of over 60s Australians. I knew from his first song that we’d chosen the right person for the job. He is not only a wonderful singer and entertainer, he’s also very accommodating, flexible and easy to deal with. Plus, he was able to quickly read the room and perform to suit the mood - and he had all the oldies up and dancing in no time. I’m sure he’s just as fantastic with a larger and/or younger crowd. Highly recommended.
Julien was absolutely INCREDIBLE playing at our wedding at the stunning Chateau de Redon. Reading his reviews and watching his videos and audios meant I already knew he was going to be great but he absolutely exceeded my expectations on the day. He was such a highlight of our day. He is so so lovely, he is so warm and friendly, such good vibes and energy. It was exactly what we wanted for our day. Our guests were in awe of him.
